Safety is a Core Value at M. Pizzuti Construction & Development.
Our safety program provides the framework for our employees and subcontractors to perform in a safe and healthy working environment. Each worker has a responsibility to themselves, their family, fellow workers, and the general public to observe safe work practices.
Following those safe work practices helps to build an effective accident prevention program.
Safety Program:
Key components of the program include:
- Written safety guidelines that provide the basis for the safety program
- Project kick-off meetings between M. Pizzuti and subcontractors
- Weekly foreman’s meetings and toolbox talks
- Executive participation and ownership of safety
- Frequent and regular safety audits that monitor safe work practices
- Open communication about safety expectations with specific specifications for each project
